funny book

DEAR DUMB DIARY is the type of book that makes not only kids but also adults laugh. In this one, Jim Benton didn't falter his humorous story lines again. Jamie Kelly compares her mother's homemade clothes to monkey vomit, which is easy to see why if you have the cover in color. Also, Jamie shares more of her personal experiences with us when she tells the story of the HE WHO MUST NOT BE NAMED OR ELSE I WILL SPOIL THE BOOK clown. Furthermore, Jamie and Angeline debate and it turns into Isabella Paradise when Isabella managed to trick them (or rather Angeline) into doing a bet with Isabella's customed game Dare or Worse Dare…

Anyways, this book is great in general!!!!!

I liked this book very much but it is hard to understand it if you haven't read the books before it. Each character plays its part and the book is really funny from the first pages...
Sunday used to be the day I reserved for doing the homework I should have done Friday night or Saturday morning or Saturday afternoon or Saturday night, but these days I spend a lot of Sunday hiding from my mom, who has decided that she wants to make me clothes. Let’s just pause and take a deep breath and contemplate the staggering impact of what I just said. Back when she was a little girl, making your own clothing was probably a great idea. Her mom and the lady who harvested coal or whatever would take a covered wagon over to where they were planning on signing the Declaration of Independence one day, and they would make their daughters clothes. But not anymore, Mom.Not anymore

It's funny in some parts but some parts were a little bit confusing. She'd talk about something then get caught with another thing. But this book is really good.I recommend everyone who is reading this to read it.

Long Time Fan!

I am a long time fan of Dame Cartland. Her books were some of the very first books I ever read. Sometimes, if you grow up with an author, you will want to revisit her books again and again....and that's what I am doing. It's been a long time since I held her books in my hands; are the stories cheesy, you bet! Are the heroines/heros simplistic? Yes again! Then why read these books? Because even though I've "grown up" in my reading, I like to visit old friends. It's very comforting to know every story will have a happy ending. Boy gets girl; love rules. Come on! It's like a hug. And at the Kindle price, I can afford to revisit this old friend!

Thorough without being tedious

Being a bit old school, I learn better from a book even if it is about such a transient subject as social media and crowdfunding. This book is well laid out, thorough without being tedious and carries the spirit of crowdfunding in it.

Following His Green River

John Fogerty comes across as he describes himself, a loner. A driven one who believes he has been ripped off through his original recording contract with Fantasy. One who could not sing love songs because he missed out on it as a child and mostly through adulthood. I always wondered why there were no love songs with CCR and now I know.

Like many musicians the world over he was probably keen to get a contract and would have signed his life away, which he and the other CCR members virtually did. He became somewhat bitter and when he did get legal advice it went against common sense and he had to pay out more. Somewhat mixed in his comments about his three partners in CCR one gets the feeling they were not as committed or as talented as him and he became the driving force. To many he was a control freak but if he stayed back in the shadows nothing happened.

He takes us through his solo years including the ten long years where he basically became a hermit. Then he met his second wife Julie and transformation came. Since meeting her he has put out albums containing love songs and its a revelation to hear him like that. And a great one thing it is too.

I've seen him with CCR and on his own and he is certainly one of the great musicians of his time. His book is very open and a change from other glossy similar types.

I enjoyed reading the book and felt an empathy for him and glad that today he is generally at peace with himself and the world. This is a good book and you can hear his voice in the words as they jump out of the page at you, like the bullfrog in a green river.

I enjoyed the autobiography. Gives me a better insight of the man who I thought I knew pretty well. I thought he would be more scathing toward his ex-bandmates and Fantasy records

This book is absolutely phenomenal!!! Once I started reading it I just couldn't put it down! And though Im not a college student I still gathered a wealth of knowledge to apply to the real world! Some of which Ive heard before and have lacked application, but was reminded by this book how simple it is to take life to the next level!! Thank you Jon Vroman and contributing students!!! From this point further I will be living my life in the FRONT ROW!!!

This book is Inspiring & Motivating and SUPER FANTASTIC!
If you want to start living life to the fullest or as Jon says it IN THE FRONT ROW
you need to read this book it will help you Break free of the things holding you back so you can Rock at Life!
