This is not the study guide for the middle grades math test

I purchased this book to help me study for my middle grades math test. I worked my butt of studying Algebra 2, trig, advanced stats and calculus. NONE of this crap was on the test! I studied for three weeks non stop only to walk into the test to find more what you would think to find on a middle grades math test. I studied the wrong thing and my score showed it, NO PASS! $200 down the drain because I didn't review anything that was on the test. This would be a great refresher for the 6-12 grade test, NOT middle grades.

Returned It! Insufficient and Incorrect

Not only does this book have multiple typos, it also gives the wrong answers to practice questions leaving struggling for no reason. I thought I had suddenly forgotten how to multiply simple equations but I had my engineer husband complete the practice question and our answers matched; the answer key was incorrect. I could have spent that time reviewing a different concept. This book also gives practice questions for concepts it did not review in previous pages. I had to Google the concept instead to review it. This study guide only has a handful of practice test questions which is not adequate for a $200 certification test. I have returned this book because I do not trust it to prepare any student for a state teaching test.
